My name is Walter Carling. I am originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. I moved to Connecticut in 1979 and except for a brief stint in West Hartford I have lived in Middletown ever since. I live with my wife Sue. I have 2 grown daughters who also live in Middletown.  I finished my schooling in Connecticut going back to school in 1985. I studied Business and English. I am a manager at a local hospital. It is a stressful job and I cook because I enjoy it and it helps me unwind after a hectic day. I started my blog because I wanted to share my love of cooking with my friends and show them it is not as difficult or time consuming as they think.
