Kate Baumann, Neighbor

Kate Baumann is Berlin born and raised. She attended Berlin schools and starred in athletics at Berlin High School. She played basketball and majored in communications at Springfield College.

She has written for Imprint Newspapers and also interned for Fox-61 in the sports department.

Her full-time job is with the New Britain Rock Cats, where she wears many hats. She works in the front office but is also responsible for on field operations during games. She is largely charged with major corporate sponsorships during the off-season.

She will cover sports and news in Berlin and certainly knows the landscape of the town.
