Email: justin.reynolds@patch.com Birthday: May 2 After graduating from the University of Vermont with an English degree, I worked for The Wilton Bulletin (Hersam Acorn Newspapers) for three-and-one-half years before joining Patch in November 2010.  I started college at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. before transferring, after sophomore year, to the Univeristy of Vermont in Burlington, Vt. Now, I live in Westport. In addition to working for Patch, things I enjoy include live music (both seeing and playing; I play bass), literature, hiking, traveling, politics, poetry, movies, and, of course, "Jeopardy!" I am also a New York Yankees fan, and a New York Football Giants fan. Politics How would you describe your political beliefs? I believe in personal responsibility. I believe in personal liberty. I believe the government spends too much money, and of the money they spend, far too much is wasted. I am fiscally conservative. I live within my means, and don't understand why Washington and Hartford do not. I am socially liberal. I think we can decide what's best for ourselves. That said, I call myself a libertarian who knows full well that libertarians should not be in control of government.
