The Town Hall facility is the hub of Berlin. It houses virtually all of its town officials, including the Town Manager,More Tax Collector and Town Clerk. On its lower levels, the facility houses the Police Department and the Berlin Public Schools offices. Residents must visit the Town Hall for many of their daily needs, from obtaining dog licenses to paying tax bills to checking with various officials on zoning or water issues.

Each school handles its own property, while the Berlin Board of Education is in charge of many of the school's choices. There are three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school in the town.

The Berlin Housing Authority is tasked with managing and development of affordable housing within in the limits ofMore Berlin. The office is housed at Marjorie Moore Senior Housing Village behind the Berlin Police Department and Town Hall complex. The office is open from 9am - 2pm, Monday through Friday. The commission meets the second Wednesday of every month at 5pm, unless otherwise noted.

The Discovery Center has students from 3 months to 11 years old during the day. Some come on a daily basis, while others come only on certain days. Owners Marilyn Valentin and Lisa Hall take great pride in the stability of their learning center and love seeing their former students come back to visit.
