Berlin High School is the lone public high school in Berlin. Students in grades nine through 12 attend the school. TheMore school mission reads: BHS is a a partnership of students, staff, parents, and community members whose mission is to develop responsible, ethical, and productive citizens and lifelong learners. The high school has an auditorium and stage, two gymnasiums, a lecture hall and several playing fields behind the facility. There are also tennis and basketball courts on-site. Berlin High School athletic teams, both boys and girls, have been dominant in the state for the past 30 years and the athletic program boasts dozens of state championships and hundreds of conference championships in that time.

Emma Hart Willard School is located centrally in Berlin, near both McGee Middle School and Berlin High School. TheMore mission of Willard School is stated as this: We hope 100 percent of our students will demonstrate the ability to: Think critically and problem solve in the disciplines of reading and mathematics. At Willard, our staff will be working to support your children to become better readers, writers, mathematicians, musicians, artists, scientists, and athletes. The school has two gymnasiums inside and playground and athletic fields outside. The Friendship Place, a boundless playground where children of all abilities can play, sits next to Willard School and is one of the most used facilities in town.

Catherine M. McGee Middle School is the only public middle school in Berlin. It hosts approximately 800 students in anyMore given year. The school's mission is to allow children to grow and learn in an atmosphere of responsibility and respect. Students in grades six through eight attend McGee. The grounds have lighted basketball courts and tennis courts, a baseball and softball field as well as room for several soccer fields. The school fields competitive athletic teams and many clubs. Most major meetings in town occur at the McGee auditorium.
