John Larson, Rosa DeLauro, and Chris Murphy vote against cutting social security, medicare, medicaid

John Larson, Rosa DeLauro, and Chris Murphy cast their vote against a debt ceiling bill placing the entire burden on the backs of the middle class.

There are three Connecticut members of the House of Representatives who care about social security, medicare, and medicaid.  They are Rosa DeLauro, John Larson, and Chris Murphy.  They were the only Connecticut Democrats to vote against the debt ceiling bill just passed in the House a short while ago.

Democratic Congressmen Jim Hines and Joe Courtney voted in favor of the bill that will require $2.1 trillion in spending cuts to social programs without any tax increases on the rich and without closing the tax loopholes and subsides for corporate jets, big oil, hedge funds, etc.

Apparently Hine and Courtney support the position of President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and other Democratic leaders to distribute the pain of our depressed economy to the lower and middle classes while giving all the gain in the form of tax breaks to the upper classes.

Let's hope the voters remember who voted for and against social security, medicare, medicaid, education, etc., and who voted for the continuance of all-time low tax breaks for the rich when the next election rolls around.
