Tree Lighting Nov. 26

A highlight of the season in Berlin.

This town. This night. Come and be a part of the magic. This Saturday, November 26 join the Town of Berlin in celebrating the beauty of the season at the 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony from 4 to 6 p.m. at the new Veterans’ Park adjacent to the Stop and Shop parking lot.

Don’t bring your worries. Don’t bring your grown-up self. Don’t bring your ever-growing to-do lists. DO bring your child-like wonder. DO bring your holiday cheer. DO bring your camera. DO bring your family and your neighbors. DO be ready to countdown to see Santa Claus ride in on the Santa Express Fire Engine. DO be ready to see children’s eyes light up in unison with the lighting of the evergreen. DO be ready to watch an awesome snowboarding exhibition courtesy of “The Cutting Edge”. DO be ready to sip your free Starbucks hot chocolate or coffee. DO bring your appetite for pizza slices from San Remo Bakery and for yummy baked goods. DO help support our Berlin community by bringing an unwrapped stocking stuffer.

DO come and all the rest will be provided: Good spirit, an unbelievable sense of community, a moment of clarity and light.  Just come…and believe!

This event is sponsored by Raising Berlin, Inc. and the Berlin Parks and Recreation Department. The rain date is Sunday, Nov. 27.
