The seventh annual golf tournament to benefit the Berlin High School baseball team will be held on Sunday, April 29 at Timberlin Golf Course in Berlin. It will be a Shotgun Format starting at 12:15. Thanks to the generosity of many sponsors and golfers, the first six tournaments were very successful with over 100 golfers participating each year. It’s not only an opportunity to get out and play on one of the premier public courses in the area, but a chance to meet friends and alumni and enjoy a great day of golf, lunch, dinner and an awards ceremony.
Funds raised from the tournament will be used to support the program in many ways. New uniforms, bats and other equipment will be purchased. The organizers hope to continue the tradition of small scholarships to the graduating players. They are also planning a post year dinner for the entire team.
