Youth Sports: Berlin Bash Win Tournament in Delaware

The Berlin Bash premier soccer team traveled to Delaware over Columbus Day and came back with the 2011 Premier Frederick Cup Silver Division Championship.
 
On Saturday, Berlin beat East Greenwich SA Clover United from New Jersey, 3-1. Later in the day, the Bash tied West Deptford SC Storm, also from New Jersey, 3-3.

On Sunday, Berlin beat the defending Delaware Premier State Champion Kirkwood Kixx, 2-1, to advance to the finals. 

The Bash won the championship against Rage SC from Pennsylvania, 1-0 in the title game.
 
In five tournaments this year the Bash have two semifinals appearances, a  finals runner-up, and two championships.

Alex Giardina of Middletown and Daria Dimateo of Rocky Hill are two of the three players on the team not from Berlin.
