Senior Kevin Josephson of the Central Connecticut men's golf team was named the the NEIGA All-New England First Team.Of the five student-athletes selected to the list, Central was the only school to have two golfers recognized as junior Dan Fanion was also selected.
Josephson of Berlin led the Blue Devils in average strokes per round as well as top-ten finishes. The senior finished the year with four top-10 finishes, his best finish coming at the New England Championships where he finished fourth. Josephson averaged 74.8 strokes per round and played in all 30 rounds for Central.
The Blue Devils won their second straight New England Championship back on April 7. Central edged Hartford by one stroke at the tournament posting a score of 598.
