Hockey Team To Partake In Coaches Vs. Cancer

Highlight of week-long effort will be game Feb. 11 with free admission to cancer survivors.

 

The Newington-Berlin High School Hockey team will be participating in Coaches vs. Cancer week hosted by Newington Athletic Department and the Athletic Leadership Council, in conjunction with the American Cancer Society.  

Because many of the players have friends/family members who have been impacted by breast cancer, the team has decided to raise breast cancer awareness.

The highlight of the week will be the Newington-Berlin Hockey game versus E.O. Smith-Tolland-Windham at Newington Arena on Saturday, February 11 at 8:30 p.m.   

There will be free admission for all cancer survivors. The team encourages the community to come support the team and unite in its fight against cancer.
