Community Tie In! Help the Rock Cats Help Others!
At FanFest, the Rock Cats will be accepting small, unopened beauty and makeup supplies to benefit Connecticut Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents (CAFAP) and their Avenue of Dreams Event in lieu of admission. All fans who bring donations will receive A COMPLIMENTARY TICKET to the Rock Cats Opening Night on April 5th!
Donation items are for high school girls, some ideas include:
-- hair products
-- lipstick or lip gloss
-- mascara applicators
-- deodorant or pocket size cologne
-- gently used prom gowns
-- any make-up products!
The Avenue of Dreams event is a wonderful opportunity for foster and adoptive teens. The event allows teens to build a positive self image and have the opportunity to attend prom. Many foster teens do not have the resources to experience this important event in a teen's life and CAFAP is proud to be able to gain the support of the community to make it happen. The Avenue of Dreams event includes a free prom gown and beauty services that allow teens' prom dreams to come true!
