Author Don Harrison will sign and discuss his book Hoops in Connecticut: The Nutmeg State's Passion for Basketball. The book, published by The History Press, presents a compact history of basketball in the state, covering outstanding high school and college teams and the 34 Connecticut natives who have played in the NBA or ABA.
In addition to interviews with many of the game's luminaries, the book also includes more than 90 images, including a color photo of UConn's 2010-11 NCAA championship team visiting the White House.
