The Berlin boy's basketball team led lowly Plainville by just a 25-23 score at halftime.
But the Redcoats held Plainville scoreless in the final quarter in earning a 50-36 victory on the road in the final regular season game.
Berlin will next play in the CCC Tournament Thursday and then the state tournament.
Bobby Mozzicato closed out a sensation senior season with 21 points and 11 rebounds. He led Berlin in scoring in all but two games this season.
Tyler Stritch added eight points for the winners while Darren Gilbert had seven points and five assists and Nick Tara added six points.
