"The team's identity changes from year to year, and this year's team take a great deal of pride in playing terrific defense," Berlin coach Scott Rossi said. "On offense, we were patient with the ball and made excellent decisions.  The younger players really stepped up against Wolcott and weren't intimidated, even though, for some, this was their first time playing at the high school level."

Tyler Kradas had two goals, Greg Buck added two goals and an assist while Conner Bernard and James Nolan won 10 of 13 face-offs.

George Stevens did a great job leading the defense, scooping up four ground balls.
Jeff Gotta and Matt Cote split time and were both solid in goal. Kyle Bolduc and Tyler Bouchard did an excellent job as longstick midfielders

Patch Needs Coaches' Help: Berlin Patch has gotten some feedback asking how we pick and choose which sports are featured on our site. Here's the simple answer. We will attempt to cover at least one or two games from all of the spring teams but we will also publish stories on other sports if the coach or manager simply e-mails in results. Parents can help too by sending scores, wrap-ups and photos.

We will also honor an athlete each Sunday as an Athlete of the Week.

Make sure your favorite team is covered by asking your coach to e-mail results and photos, or do it yourself.
