It was the Meriden Invitational Duals and the host didn't let up on the Minutemen as they topped them 12-6. Winning by pin for Berlin were Braden Shea, Cayden Hill, Daniel Koops, Marcus Kelly-Johnson and Zachary Skinner. The most exciting match was Eddy Lenz's come from behind 10-9 win at the buzzer.
The Minutemen opened the day with a 14-6 loss to Southington. Winning were Luke Mangiafico, Connor Gileau, Mason Hill, Serge Duquette and Vinny DeFrancesco.
In the final match Berlin beat Cheshire 9-3 to place third in the team standings. Winning were Shea, Daniel, Matthew and Niko Koops, Jacob Wagner, Marcus Kelly-Johnson and Zachary Skinner.
On Friday, January 25 the Minutemen dropped a 51-32 decision to the Knights of Coventry. However, it was a good night of wrestling for the Minutemen. Winning for the home team were: Tanner Parmelee, Cayden Hil, Matthew Koops, Mason Hill, Isaac Cortes, Rory Mayer and Zachary Koops.
The Minutemen will host Stafford at home on Friday, February 1st beginning at 6 pm. It is open and free to the public.
