Berlin Midget Football To Host Charity Day Nov. 3

Proceeds will go to American Cancer Society.

On November 3, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., the Berlin Bears will be holding a Charity Event at Sage Park. (Admission: Adults $2 / Children $1 / Family Group Discount (parents and children) $5 max.

The festivities will start at 2 p.m. with a "Punt, Pass and Kick" competition for children and adults. There will be different divisions for children based on how many participants and age of the participants. In the adult division, there will only be 1 division for men and 1 division for women. (Entry fee $3 for all participants)

Following the "Punt, Pass and Kick" competition award ceremony, there will be the "Main Event", a Flag Football Game pitting the coaches of all the BMF teams splitting up and playing against each other. This game has been in development for a few years and after settling some appearance fee issues, media coverage and a big enough venue, we have finally saved enough money to purchase the magnitude of ice packs that will be needed to play the game. The game is sure to be entertaining and a fun way to spend a fall afternoon with friends and family while supporting a good cause.

The concession stand will be open and is a great place to have a late lunch or early dinner. There will also be some great BMF apparel on sale including some new styles that  will make a nice addition to your collection.

All Proceeds from the admission fees and "Punt, Pass and Kick" competition will be donated to the American Cancer Society to help the fight against Cancer.

Please come on down to Sage Park on November 3 to have some fun and support a worthy cause!
