On Saturday, Berlin took third place at the Eagle Classic at East Catholic. Windham was first, South Windsor second and Berlin third out of 13 teams.
"This is a solid achievement considering we had five starters out of the line up due to illness," Berlin coach Jim Day said.

"Out of the 12 wrestlers we entered 10placed," Day said. "Kevin Perruccio was seeded seventh and defeated the #2 and #3 seeds to gain the finals. Drew Mals defeated a wrestler for third place who two weeks earlier defeated him by major decision.
