"We qualified for the state tournament and we qualified for the CCC Tournament so the girls have done well this year," Tarigo said. "The last goal is to advance as far as we can in the state tournament. We’ll see how that goes. A lot of teams went up from Class M to Class L so there will be a lot of new teams you haven't seen before. Like it always does, it all depends on the raw. They're having fun now."

Sensational transfer student Giorgia Rossetto again led Berlin. She is a force at the net and serves with power and she can also play solid defense.

"As good a player as Giorgia is she is surrounded by very good players as well," Tarigo said. "They all have roles. Alicia Maule is a very good setter. They serve the ball well and hustle. Kristina Hagmaier has played the libero position perfectly. She is doing all the things you want. Kailene Rampone is serving well and Olivia D'Aquila and Tess Repaci have been very strong."

Berlin now awaits the pairings for the CCC Tournament and the pairings for the CIAC state tournament.
