"This was a good win for us," Berlin coach John Line said. "We beat a team that was playing well and with confidence. We needed a test and we passed. I'm sure both Steve and his players are disappointed with the outcome, but they will be ready when we visit Tunxis. We expect their best. The conditions were breezy and cool, not a great day for scoring, but it could have been worse."
Austin Forauer shot 38 to lead Berlin. Nick Martino shot 42, while Ryan Marquis and Chris Samiotis each shot 43.
"Austin is playing well and confidence," Line said. "His season is only going to get better. Ryan and Nick felt they could have played better, but were pleased with the win. They too will improve as the weather warms. Chris is starting to be consistent."
