The Hall girls basketball team sprinted out to a 24-3 lead after just one quarter and led 38-15 at halftime in cruising to an easy 56-31 victory over Berlin in the first round of the CCC Tournament Saturday in West Hartford.
The Hall lead grew to 47-18 going into the final quarter.
Ashley Malloy led Berlin with 10 points followed by Monique St. Jarre with seen points and Chelsea Vujs with six points.

Berlin will now have to wait to see their rank and opponent in the CIAC state tournament. That information will be available at the end of this week.
