Berlin Football Improves to 3-0 With Rout Of Tolland

Scott McLeod returned the opening kick-off 93 yards to the Tolland 2-yard line and Wojtus Zak scored on the next play. Berlin never looked back in beating host Tolland, 55-13.

Berlin led 14-6 after the first quarter but widened the lead to 41-6 with 27 unanswered points in the second quarter.

Justin Gombotz and McLeod each had three touchdowns for the Redcoats, now 3-0 with the victory. Zak added two touchdowns for the winners who play at Weaver Saturday, Oct. 6. Gombotz finished with 105 yards on 10 carries. McLeod added 83 yards on eight carries.
