Two first quarter strikes from Williams to Kevin Main and Justin Gombotz put the Redcoats up early.

With Bloomfield's defense largely bottling up the Berlin running game, Scott McLeod hit Tyler Undercuffler with a 79-yd touchdown pass in the third quarter.
Earlier, Kevin Main scored Berlin's third touchdown on 2-yard run.

Bloomfield's quarterback, Norvel Stewart, operating out of a shotgun formation created problems for Berlin's defense by scrambling out of the pocket for yardage. Stewart was intercepted twice, by Main and Kyle Young, but had success moving the ball, resulting in three Bloomfield touchdowns.

In an attempt to contain Stewart, Berlin at times employed only two down linemen and five linebackers. Main led all Berlin tacklers with 12, with Paul Mariano adding 10 and a quarterback sack. A late-game pass rush by Hector Rodriguez led to a safety.

Berlin, now 8-1, will face New Britain in the regular season finale on Thanksgiving Eve in New Britain.
