Berlin Boltz Soccer Team Has Stellar Season In A Division

U-11 team goes 16-2-2 playing against top competition in the state.

The Berlin Boltz, playing their first season against the top division of competition in the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA), ripped off an impressive record of 16-2-2.

The Boltz made it to the quarterfinals of the Connecticut Cup before losing 2-1 to eventual runner-up Avon. Berlin came back to tie Avon 0-0 in its regular season league finale.

The only other loss was a 2-1 decision to Connecticut Cup champion Farmington midway through the year in a league game.

The team is made up of: Nikki Baedor, Maria Butrimas, Zoe Walk, Lea Cabral, Hailey Nardelli, Emma Norton, Amy Kuckel, Lexi Martino, Kaitlin DeCamp, Hannah Smolicz, Marta Mazurek and Rebecca Mayer.
