Berlin High School wrestling coach Jim Day is organizing an all-ages wrestling team called the Mat Rats Wrestling Team.
High School wrestlers will practice every Wednesday starting April 3 until the end of June from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. The Middle School wrestlers will practice at a time and day to be announced.
The practice will take place at THE BARN, 2298 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin.
The cost will be $300 and includes a USA Card, Singlet, T-Shirt, instruction and coaching at selected tournaments (team members who make 90 percent of all practices and competitions will be awarded a warm up at season's end.)
The team is open to wrestlers of all ages; Master's level, Open level, High school, Middle school and Elementary school.
The coaching staff will include of Shane Day, John Fiorillo, two-time Masters Champion John Bennett and National Wrestling Hall of Famer and high school coach Jim Day.
Make checks payable to "In Your Zone." Registration will be April 3 at THE BARN starting at 6:45 p.m. Champions are built at THE BARN.
