Berlin beat Cheney Tech 28-14 to win its first CIAC home playoff game in school history.

Played in a steady, sometimes heavy rain it was not a work of art but the Redcoats are still playing.

Next up will be unbeaten and top seed Ansonia on Saturday at a site and time to be announced.
