Students from Catherine McGee School will be performing in the Connecticut Northern Region Music Festival.
The festival will be on March 1 and March 2 at Har-bor Middle School in Burlington. Auditions were held in January at King Philip School in West Hartford and these students scored high enough to earn a spot in a performing ensemble.
Kate Rochette and Caylie Whiteside have been selected for the ladies choir while Chloe Ezzo, Tyler Vu, Aiden Rich and Alec Rossi will be participating in the band.
Corinne Terlecky is the Choral music teacher and Marlene Bradshaw is the Instrumental teacher at McGee.
