The Hospital of Central Connecticut is offering a workshop series for breast-cancer survivors called Cancer Transitions - Life after Treatment. These workshops are designed to help cancer survivors transition from active treatment to after care. They are open to breast-cancer survivors who have finished their intensive treatment within the past two years. (Attendees may be receiving adjuvant treatment such as tamoxifen.)
Each session includes a healthy meal and free parking in the Quigley Garage adjacent to the hospital's main entrance. Participants will receive a free copy of After Breast Cancer by Hester Hill Schnipper.
