Child Development Class At Berlin High School Celebrates 45th year

It allows high school students to work with pre-schoolers for credit.

When I was in high school, many years ago, I remember students running in the halls celebrating that they had gotten into the Berlin High School Child Development class.

They couldn't wait to spend class time working with three and four-year olds from the community and receiving credit for it.

This year, Berlin High School will once again be sponsoring a morning playschool for children between the ages of 3 and 4 for residents of Berlin for the 45th year.

The playschool is part of the Child Development class offered at the high school and gives the Berlin High senior students an opportunity to apply what they have learned to hands-on experience in working with children from our community.
