Chef Tim's Healthy Choices A Hit At Hubbard

Prosinski cooks pasta and fresh vegetables in front of students, parents.

Berlin Schools Food Service Director Chef Tim Prosinski cooked pasta with fresh vegetables and chicken in front of the Hubbard Elementary School fourth grade students and parents.

The parents were invited to come in and dine with their fourth graders. The smell of fresh food cooking made its way through the hallways of the school.

"I's one thing to just roll out a new option on the menu but when I come and cook it in front of the kids the response is so much better," Prosinski said. "The response every time I do this is off the charts."

The fourth graders loved the new kind of pasta and thought they would eat it if it was on the menu in the future.
