Calling all Citizens!

Help Berlin High students donate to food bank.

The students of Berlin High School have a challenge for all of you. Yes, you!

BHS has recently initiated a food drive that benefits the citizens of this town. We are aiming to raise as much non-perishable food items as possible to donate to the local food pantry.

Although every Civics classroom of Berlin High School is required to participate in this “competition” to collect food for this drive, Mr. Ott’s 10th grade Civics class wanted to extend this challenge past the confining walls of the high school, and widen our birth of donations to the whole town.

What we are asking of you is simple: clear away those cobwebs, oil those hinges and open up your pantry. It’s easy; just send in those non-perishable food items that you can spare with your high school students to drop off in the office for “Mr. Ott’s Civics Class Food Drive.”

Or, if you don’t have a high school student within reach, make the short drive over and drop off the food to the high school office personally. The Food Drive lasts until March 25, so don’t miss this opportunity to give back to your community!

Sincerely,
The Students of Mr. Ott’s Berlin High School Civics Class
