Berlin High School Students Participate in Junior Achievement Job Shadow Day at Comcast in Berlin

Berlin Mayor Adam Salina and State Representative Joe Aresimowicz help kick off day.

On April 30th, Comcast hosted 21 high school students from Berlin for a Junior Achievement job shadow day.

The program gave students the opportunity to experience first-hand what it’s like to work in a professional environment and talk to Comcast employees in various departments about their field, including marketing, engineering, human resources and more, and how they got to where they are today.

Berlin Mayor Adam Salina and State Representative Joe Aresimowicz along with Comcast leaders were on hand to help kick off the morning and talk to students.

Comcast’s Berlin facility serves as the company’s Western New England Region headquarters, which includes Connecticut, New York, Western Massachusetts, Western New Hampshire and Vermont.
