Time for Berlin Dogs to Get Their License!
Berlin residents can register their dogs at their town clerk's office.
Attention Berlin residents: June is the month to get your dog licensed.
Residents are reminded that dogs must be licensed between June 1st and June 30th and that early renewals are not permitted.
Connecticut dog laws mandate that dogs older than six months this June must be licensed or their licenses must be renewed next in June at the Town Clerk's office.
It costs $18 to licence each in tact dog and $8 for each of your spayed or neutered dogs. You can download the application here.
When you go in for your dog’s tags, you must present an up-to-date certificate of vaccination against rabies that is signed by a veterinarian. If you're overdue to license your dog, you may be charged $1 for each month that your dog was not licensed.
Once you get them, the dog tags need to be attached to the dog’s collar.
