Berlin residents can finally see some progress in the Berlin High School renovation project as constructions signs have gone up.
On the east side of the school there is a fenced-in area with construction signs from FIP. There is also heavy construction equipment in that fenced-in area.
Across the street from the main entrance to the high school are construction trailers which will serve as offices for FIP.
"When I go to the basketball games, and I went to two of them this week, the people I talked to are happy the construction has begun and the signs are up and they are happy the trailers are across the street but they are uncertain about the future of the project and I think that's fair," Berlin Board of Education President Gary Brochu.
Asked if he was uncertain, Brochu said, "I'm optimistic."
