OCCUPATION: Senior Sourcing Consultant - Northeast Utilities

PAST OFFICES HELD: Town Council (2-years)

CIVIC AFFILIATIONS (Rotary, Lions, VFW, etc.): I have served the Boy Scouts of America as a Scoutmaster and currently as a Merit Badge Counselor.  I foster communication as past president and current member of Energy Toastmasters.

PERSONAL STATEMENT: My decisions while on the Berlin Town Council are made after questioning and analyzing the pertinent information. I could not support a completely new high school. I could support a renovation of it only with support of the community. When the community turned down the $83M choice I was supportive of something less than the initial proposed and above the $20M option. My no on the $69M option was not because of party pressure, but rather independent input on over estimated construction costs of the $69M option and the lack of geothermal and other energy efficient approaches for long-term savings.
