Malloy To Hold Towns Harmless

Berlin Mayor Salina has the ear of Governor Malloy.

Two stories on CT New Junkie detailed the speech of Gov. Dannel Malloy as he talked about how the state has to help towns be able to operate.

In both stories, Berlin Mayor Adam Salina, is quoted. He clearly has the ear of the state's top administrators.

Berlin Mayor Adam Salina said as a local official he’s always worried about the education funding because it counts for about roughly 10 percent of the overall budget. I worry, too, Mayor Salina. You and I both know that the education budget will increase next year, resulting in higher property taxes for Berlin's citizens. http://www.cpa-connecticut.com/blog/?p=4076
