Storytimes are a half-hour program featuring stories, fingerplays, songs, and a short movie. Each week an early literacy skill will be highlighted. There are six early literacy skills: print awareness, phonological awareness, letter knowledge, vocabulary, print motivation, and narrative skills. No registration is needed for these programs

- Wednesday 11:30 a.m. for birth to 18 months

The theme for Dec. 3-6 is Christmas and Hanukkah stories
Playtime – Fridays 10 a.m. to noon - Drop in – no registration. Weekly throughout the year. Opportunity for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to play and socialize together with parents in the large meeting room of the library.
Early Dismissal afternoon: Wednesday, Nov. 28 from 2 to 3 p.m. – Leapin’ Lizards – unleash your creepy crawly by creating a beaded lizard keychain with the help of your parent or guardian. Register.
Paper capers family fun: Saturday, Dec. 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. – make a pop-up greeting card. Drop-in.
Early dismissal afternoon: Wed. Dec. 5 – movie showing: Brave at 1:30 – bring your own comfy chair and snacks. Drop-in.
