GOP Breakfast Scheduled At Senior Center

This will give residents an opportunity to meet the candidates.

The Berlin Republican Town Committee will be sponsoring a Meet the Candidates Breakfast at the Berlin Senior Center on October 16 from 9 to 11 a.m. 

Candidates for Town Council: Dave Evans, Eric Buhrendorf, Charles Paonessa, and Fran Geschimsky as well as Candidates for Police Commission: Bob Peters, and Rich Rampone, and Kari Maier Drost, Candidate for Board of Assessment Appeals will be in attendance. 

esidents are asked drop by with any questions they have for the candidates regarding the upcoming Town of Berlin elections.

Berlin Fair Straw Poll

The Berlin Republican Town Committee organized a Straw Poll Fundraiser for the 2012 Republican Presidential Election and held this event at the Berlin Fair this past weekend.  The results are as follows:

With a total of 306 votes cast the winner is Herman Cain with 31.4% of the vote.

Rick Perry 7.5%

Mitt Romney 26.5%

Michele Bachman 7.2%

Ron Paul 15.0%

Newt Gingich 12.4%

Herman Cain 31.4%

A total of $400 was raised and will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
