Going National

Aresimowicz appointed to National Legislative Panel.

State Representative Joseph Aresimowic (Berlin/Southington) has been appointed to serve on the National Council of State Legislature’s Labor and Economic Labor Commiottee by House Speaker Christopher Donovan (D-Meriden) for calendar year 2011-2012.

The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) is a bipartisan organization that serves the legislators and staffs of the nation’s 50 states providing research, technical assistance and opportunities for policymakers to exchange ideas of the most pressing state issues.

“I thank Speaker Donovan for appointing me to serve on the Labor and Economic Committee of the National Council of State Legislatures,” Rep. Aresimowicz said. “Jobs and the economy are challenges facing elected and policy leaders both on the state level and nationally, so I see this as an opportunity to exchange ideas on issues of mutual concern with legislative colleagues and policy experts from across the country.”
