Gerratana Reads To Children

Democratic State Senator Terry Gerratana (Berlin, New Britain) reads to a group of children on the lawn of the New Britain Public Library on Tuesday, July 19, as part of "New Britain Reads Day."

More than 40 different adult readers were scheduled to read to groups of New Britain children in 15-minute shifts from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Senator Gerratana, who is a certified secondary school teacher, read "A Dog Needs A Bone" by Audrey Wood.
