  2. Topic re: Accept donations totaling $3,028.00 for Berlin-Peck Memorial Library and deposit to the Agency Fund from which related purchases will be made. – Berlin-Peck Memorial Library
  3. Topic re: Approve Proshanto Rozario to sell ice cream, candy and soda in town parks during the 2013 calendar year. – Parks and Recreation
  4. Topic re: Approve Nick Zindros to sell ice cream, candy and soda in town parks during the 2013 calendar year. – Parks and Recreation
  5. Topic re: Accept a donation of $20.00 from the Theresa R. Dalena Trust and deposit the funds into the Drug Enforcement Special Grants and Donations Fund and appropriate the funds to the Drug Enforcement Operating Materials (DARE) Expenditure Account. – Police Department

  2. Topic re: Authorize the Town Manager to enter into a contract with RedFlex Student Guardian (SmartBus) subject to review by Corporation Counsel to implement the SmartBus program in Berlin. – Town Manager
  3. Topic re: Adopt the 2013/14 Revenue Fee Schedule as proposed by the Revenue Committee. – Finance
  4. Topic re: Authorize award of the Emergency Generator Replacement project for Berlin Town Hall #2013-06 to Shea Electric of Plantsville, CT, subject to Corporation Counsel’s contract review, and authorize the Town Manager to enter into change orders, if necessary, to bring the total contract to an amount not to exceed $231,400. – Public Building
  5. Topic re: Award a contract to East River Energy of Guilford, CT for the purchase of 140,000 gallons of gasoline utilizing the CCROG bid #586 since this is in best interest of the town. – Municipal Garage
  6. Topic re: Approve the purchase of one 2013 Ford Taurus Interceptor utilizing the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services Contract #10PSX0239- Supplement #13 for an amount not to exceed $ 25,013. – Municipal Garage
  7. Topic re: Approve the purchase of one 2013 Ford Taurus Interceptor, one 2013 Ford Utility Interceptor and one 2013 Ford Expedition SSV from Crowley Ford of Plainville, CT utilizing the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services contract #10PSX0239- Supplement #13 for an amount not to exceed $82,019. – Municipal Garage
  8. Topic re: Adopt the attached Clean Energy Municipal Pledge. – Public Works
  9. Topic re: Utilize the CRCOG Contract Award (Number 581) for the purpose of crack sealing roadway surfaces, and award the contract to the lowest bidder (A&A Asphalt, LLC of Coventry, CT). – Public Works
  10. Topic re: Authorize the Town Manager to utilize the attached bid results for the Equipment Rental Contract (#2013-15) when issuing future purchase orders to the three firms that submitted proposals (E. Aiudi & Sons, Earth Contractors, and Pepin Corporation) depending on which one results in the lowest cost to the Town. – Public Works
  11. Topic re: Utilize the Connecticut DAS Contract #12PSX0250 to purchase the necessary concrete catch basin materials from United Concrete of Yalesville, CT. – Public Works
  12. Topic re: Approve a tax abatement for Christian Lane Industrial Park West LLC for its new 7,200 square industrial building at 201 Christian Lane of 50% in year 1, 40% in year 2, and 30% in year 3 per the town’s tax abatement policy. – Economic Development
