UBI Credit Union Robbed

Police said a man wearing a sweatshirt and a blue knit cap made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash at 1:51 p.m.

The Berlin Police Department is investigating the robbery of the UBI Credit Union located at 40 Chamberlain Highway in the Kensington section of Berlin. The incident was reported at 1:51 p.m. today.

The suspect is described as an unshaven white male, approximately 5’11” tall, 225 lbs. wearing a blue knit cap, gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants with a white stripe down the legs.

The suspect implied he had a weapon and fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. A K-9 track was conducted of the area but the suspect was not located. No one was injured in the credit union.
