Berlin Police had to call for help as a cruiser caught on fire on Farmington Ave. in front of the Berlin Citizen office.A Berlin officer was investigating a minor motor vehicle accident on Farmington Ave. near Walgreens, when she noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment.By time the fire department arrived the engine was fully engulfed in flames.A police official mentioned to the photographer, James Ostroski, a Kensington resident, that it was a brand new cruiser, a 2011 model and was not on the road for to long.
