"There was a bag found on the driveway by the homeowner and we could not identify what was in it so we called in the State Bomb Squad to identity what was inside," Berlin Police Assistant Chief John Klett said. "They X-rayed the bag and found that it contained a Bible wrapped in duct tape and some other items."

Police questioned Palardy and he cooperated with Berlin Police.
