Juan Otero, 597 Chestnut St., Springfield; Attempted robbery, Conspiracy to commit home invasion, Home invasion, Assault to an elderly person, Conspiracy to commit assault, Burglary.
(BPD arrested the second person involved in a 2010 home invasion. Juan Otero, 33, of Springfield, Mass., was charged by warrant with attempted first-degree robbery, home invasion, first-degree burglary and second-degree assault.
In 2010, Otero and Felix Pagan, also of Springfield, knocked on a door on Simms Road and forced their way into the home.
Otero is being held on $500,000 bond.)
