Berlin Police Blotter: Sept 17-24

Sept. 17

Nicholas Roberts, 846 Lower Lane, Berlin: Threatening (Arrested without incident for threatening text messages.)

Sept. 19

Bryan Winkler, 313 Bucks Hill Road, Waterbury: Larceny (Turned himself in for an active warrant for larceny.)

Thomas Lipka, 20 Woodhaven Road, Berlin: Illegal possession of fireworks, Illegal possession of hallucinogenic drug, Use or possession of drug paraphernalia. (Berlin PD was in process of assisting NBPD at above address when during consent search found over four ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and illegal fireworks.)

Scott Brophy, 507 Berlin St., Southington: Failure to appear.

Bryan Winkler, 23 Lilley Road, West Hartford: Failure to appear (Has PRAWN warrant from West Hartford PD.)

Sept. 20

Eugene Edwards, 38 Nye Road, New Brtain: Home invasion, Robbery, Larceny (Wanted by Wethersfield Police, transported and arraigned at GA 15 and held on $200,000 bond.)

Sept. 23

Jakub Rucinski, 47 South Elm St., Wallingford: Disorderly conduct (was arrested after pushing his girlfriend to the ground during an argument after leaving Centerfold's Cafe.)

Sept. 24

Sean Warren, 512 New Britain Road, Berlin: illegal possession of drugs (was arrested during a motor vehicle stop in which he was a passenger and in possession of heroin.)

Jared McBriarty, 57 Vivian Drive, Berlin: Violation of protective order (Was turned over to Berlin PD after being arrested by West Hartford Police. McBriarty had an active warrant for seven counts of Conspiracy to violate a protective order. He posted $40,000 bond and has a court date on Oct. 1.)
