Friday Night A Busy Night For Berlin PD and FD

Three calls come in within two hours of each other.

Three calls kept the Berlin Fire Department and Police Department busy Friday night.

At about 9:30 p.m. a call came in for an auto rollover on Savage Hill Road. There was no report of whether there were injuries from the accident.

Later, the Kensington Fire Department responded to a fire in back of the former Kensington Furniture on Farmington Ave. It was quickly extinguished with no injuries.

Then at 10:30 p.m. a call came in from a residence on Ellwood Road, off of Percival Ave., that their house was "egged" by a group of people. As police responded to the call, another call came in saying that a truck hit one of the people who was throwing eggs.

Hunter’s Ambulance took the pedestrian to Hartford Hospital with unspecified injuries. There was no information on the person who was hit other that he had injuries and had to be transported by ambulance.
