Firefighter On His Way To Virginia

He and his crew will battle wildfires that have spread.

Berlin firefighter Rich Scalora is heading to Virginia for two weeks as part of a DEEP Wild Fire crew to help fight the worst forest fire Virginia has ever seen.

Scalora was dispatched to Minnesota for its worst forest fire ever last year and will be gone this time for a few weeks.

Scalora and his crewmates met Governot Dannel Malloy before they departed.
