EOC, Shelter Are Open

McGee already had people in cafeteria at noon.

The Berlin Emergency Operations Center (EOC) opened Saturday at noon as did the shelter at Catherine McGee School.

Four people had already shown up to the shelter at noon and many more were expected.

"We're here, we're staffed and we're ready for whatever happens," EOC Director said. "We will be here until we are needed so if its 24 hours, 36 hours, however long it takes."
