BPD Working On Two Open Cases
Burglary on Orchard Road and car that rammed police cruiser still being investigated.
A burglary was reported at 1348 Orchard Road on May 31 and is an open investigation according to Berlin Police Department officials.
On May 29 a Berlin police cruiser was rammed by a red vehicle near New Britain Stadium on Route 71.
"The crash that involved one of our officers on May 29 is also open and under investigation so that report can’t be released yet," the Berlin PD said.

"I can confirm that the car that was found burnt in New Britain was the vehicle involved in our crash. Either the CT State Police or New Britain would be investigating the fire as it occurred on Route 9 in New Britain."
